Summertime hundreds of sharks congregate north of the Yucatan Peninsula where there is a high presence of plankton to feed. The whale shark is the largest fish in the world and is a harmless gentle animal. It feeds on plankton and small fish that it filters into its huge toothless mouth.

The boat trip lasts between 1 hour and 1 hour and a half in fasy boats with a maximum capac.ity of 10 people. You stay in the sighting area for 2-3 hours. During this time you will have the opportunity to make a maximum of 2 jumps into the water with the shark swimming near it.

The activity consists of swimming with the shark that is on the surface feeding by filtering water. There is no diving and is suitable for everyone. The minimum age is 6 years, consider the boat trip and that you have to know how to swim to decide if children are prepared for this activity.
